Kommando Store: The Jaeger Rig

Kommando Store presents the Russian Jaeger Rig based on the design that evolved from the Soviet experience in Afghanistan, where soldiers abandoned clunky belt kits for the simple, lightweight Chinese "Chicom" chest rigs. This led to the Soviet-designed "Lifchik" rig, which was still flawed, sitting too high on the chest and using heavy, water-absorbing canvas.
The modern Jaeger Rig was created from years of modifications to the Lifchik. Built with modern, lightweight materials, it was specifically designed for rapid mountain reconnaissance. Its slim profile made it perfect for long-range patrols and layering with other gear used by Spetsnaz and the NVD.
The rig's features include four grenade pouches, two flare pouches, and capacity for up to six AK magazines. It also has a secure document pouch and a quick-detach X harness, allowing for emergency removal.
