Product updates from Danny of Siegetek Concepts as they are currently offering a 26.67 ratio Torque Gear Set for the elongated Version 2 Mechboxes in use in CA25 and G&P SR25 AEGs (so this will also be for the CA SCAR-Heavy too). However, there should be some modding required to this set to fit to the CA25 gearboxes as they need to be widened with a rotary tool which should not take long. There is not compatibility issue with the gearbox one.

According to Danny, "The step and bevel gears are CNC machined from chromium molybdenum steel per my current generation products.  The gear set will have no issue handling any existing and potential AEG spring rates, as long as the motor can provide the required performance.  The price for the elongated V2 mechbox gear set is currently at US$120."

He also adds that, "As for the other gear sets, V8 Balanced (20.45 ratio) gear set for TM Type-89 series and V9/NV2 Balanced (20 ratio) gear set for the TM Shoot & Recoil Engine series both have single-piece construction nitrided nickel chromoly steel sector gears and two-piece laser-welded nitrided nickel chromoly steel step gears.  The bevel gears are chromoly steel.  The gear sets currently retail for US$130 each.

Lastly, the 9-tooth dual-sector gear came about due to customer demands for higher output builds.  It is also made from nickel chromoly steel to handle even higher loads.  I currently only offer it in the 20.8 ratio gear set due to the higher torque requirement from the increased loading."
