Engineered for low-visibility operations and high-mobility environments, the carrier focuses on maximizing concealability without requiring users to invest in specialized armor. Its adjustable design ensures compatibility with nearly any existing plate size or cut currently in a user's inventory.

The Slick-R emphasizes wearer comfort through an anatomic "stingray-like" design, which creates a natural standoff between the plate and the body to facilitate ventilation. Constructed from Brookwood Squadron B52 500D laminate, the carrier is built to be both durable and odor-resistant. Despite its technical capabilities, the entire system weighs only 8 ounces unloaded and can be compressed to fit within the palm of a hand for easy storage.

The Slick-R can be fully assembled in under five minutes using a wrap-around tension system. The carrier includes a stretch cummerbund and standard hook-and-loop adjustments for a customized fit.
