If you are putting together your comms for use in a milsim event, check this video by Verage Airsoft showing his setup for you to get an idea or two for yours... "Communication is important but finding the system that works is not easy with all the different systems out there. 

That is why I created this video to go over the full setup:

• Radio
• PTT
• Headset

I use this setup as a squad member, but also as any leading role from Squad leader up till Company command. It makes you manage 2 different channels with one radio in a very comfortable way.
