Snowball fight! That’s what is. It’s winter and it ain’t fun if we don’t get some snowball fight action. Virtually, there is one big international snowball fight to be hosted by Ubisoft and it is the Rainbow Six Siege “Snow Brawl” which starts today until the 4th of January.

And yes! Operators get to lay down their weapons and ammo as they need to fight it out with snowballs and Snowblast launchers. Christmas in the air, so peace to men of good will:

Snow Brawl is a snow-filled capture the flag game mode, with Respawn. The match starts with flags in the home base of each team. The goal is for players to capture the flag of the opposing team and bring it back to their own base to score a point. Flags can be released by the holder or by taking down the carrier. Fallen flags can be returned to base by picking them up.

Both teams are equipped with unlimited Snowballs as the main weapon in this fight, with the Snowblast Launcher as secondary, ready to push-back. Three hits down a player and sends them to Respawn. Boosts available on the map include: Running speed, Rate of fire, Air jab ammo, Health packs.

The team with the most points at the end wins, and in case of a tie we go into overtime. First to score in Sudden Death wins.

Players can choose their teams such as being The Blue Blades with Operators Ash, Blackbeard, Buck, Montagne, and Osa or as The Orange Blizzard team that is comprised of Castle, Frost, Rook, Thorn, and Vigil as Operators.

The “Snow Brawl” comes with its collection that contains uniforms, headgear, weapon skins, and NEW Operator Card Portraits for the Snow Brawl competitors. It also includes Snowflake Bundle with includes a signature weapon skin, a universal attachment skin, charm, and background. It can be obtained by completing the Special Event Challenges or if players are in a hurry, they can purchase these for 300 R6 Credits.

Just to sweeten things, a free Collection pack will be gifted to all players who log into the game during the Snow Brawl event.
