The Serious Sam revival is definitely on track, pandemic or not, as Croteam and Devolve Digital announced that “Serious Sam 4” will be released for the PC and Google Stadia in August 2020.  There have been four titles, discounting the HD and VR versions, ever since “Serious Sam: The First Encounter” in 2001.

Also, he is arch enemy, extraterrestrial Mental, will be back with his minions as they are still bent on destroying humanity. You as the player in the role of Serious Sam of the Earth Defense Force will be there to stop him.

But where is the version for the consoles such as Xbox One and Playstation 4? Players using these consoles will have to wait more as the Google’s cloud gaming service gets first dibs according to Kotaku.

“The game is still coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 after its period of exclusivity is over with Stadia,” a rep for publisher Devolver Digital told Kotaku over email, adding that those consoles won’t receive Serious Sam 4 until 2021 after further inquiry.
