SIG Sauer announced the MCX-REGULATORO, their newest addition to the popular MCX platform. This innovative rifle leverages the modularity of the MCX platform to create a whole new concept of a ranch rifle.

The MCX-REGULATOR combines the proven technology of the MCX SPEAR-LT upper receiver, and the gas piston system trusted by elite special forces worldwide. Wrapped around this core is a newly designed lower receiver, trigger, and stock, specifically crafted for the working ranch rifle user.

This is the first time the DNA of an Elite Special Forces battle platform, flawless function, and a short stroke gas piston system has been specifically designed and visioned for the working rifle. At SIG we don’t subscribe to the premise that its acceptable to compromise for any purpose, including your working rifle, and this rifle will revolutionize a day at the ranch or however you use your REGULATOR.” 

The MCX-REGULATOR boasts an aluminium frame with a gas piston operating system, known for its cleanliness and reduced recoil. The rifle comes equipped with a comfortable Magpul SGA Mossberg 500/590 traditional stock and a two-stage match trigger for precise shooting. The Gen II NiR FDE Cerakote finish provides a low infrared signature for added discretion.

This feature-packed rifle is available in two popular calibers: 7.62x39 and 5.56. It includes a cold hammer-forged carbon steel barrel for exceptional durability and a SIG-designed muzzle brake to help manage recoil. The MCX-REGULATOR also features a built-in Arca Rail for easy tripod mounting, making it ideal for long-range shooting or varmint hunting.

For those who prefer a red dot sight, SIG Sauer offers the MCX-REGULATOR with a factory-installed ROMEO2 optic. This sight boasts a moulded glass aspheric lens for a clear sight picture and D.A.R.C. technology for excellent visibility in various lighting conditions.

The ROMEO2 features several innovative technologies to enhance user experience. The MOTAC system automatically powers the sight on when movement is detected and turns it off when not in use, saving battery life. Additionally, the MAGNETAC feature allows compatible holsters to automatically turn the sight off when holstered and back on when drawn.

The ROMEO2 is built with a tough 7075-aluminum housing and comes with a shroud for complete protection. The sight also features a convenient side-loading battery compartment for easy battery changes without removing the optic.

The SIG Sauer MCX-REGULATOR is now available for purchase at authorized retailers. For the airsoft market, SIG Sauer has the SIG Air ProForce which will still have to announce it will produce an airsoft version of the MCX-REGULATOR with one if its OEM partners.
