SIG P210 Carry

First announced two years ago, SIG Sauer finally released the P210 Carry. This pistol, as the company says, is about “Paying homage to the foundational craftsmanship of its forerunner while maintaining the features, weight, and balance of an ideal carry pistol.”

The P210 Carry follows the SIG P210 which has been service since 1949, known in the Swiss Army as the Pistole 49 and a civilian variant called SP47/8.  SIG Sauer carries the P210 into the 21st Century with some design improvements seen in the P210 Carry.

As we have been seeing compact concealed carry pistols being left and right by firearms companies, a full size pistol is a welcome sight.  This is a 9mm, hammer-fired pistol.
It features a lighter alloy frame, shortened slight, slim Black G10 grips, and Siglite night sights for easier target acquisition in lowlight conditions. Other noticeable features is the Nitron finish, front slide serrations, and the signature reverse rail design.

In airsoft, Marushin makes the P210 pistol and if you know where to look, it can be found at some retailers that still have it in stock. It would be nice if SIG Air ProForce will also bring the P210 Carry to the airsoft market.

As for the real deal P210 Carry, it is now available at authorized dealers at a price of US$1,300.00. Press release below:
