Jaeger Precision does an initial review of the VFC Walther PDP GBB Airsoft Pistol, comparing its design to the older, more comfortable but poorly performing VFC HK VP9. The modern Walther PDP is described as chunky with an optics-ready slide and adjustable sights. After a brief disassembly, he points out its more conventional blowback housing, which suggests better reliability than the VP9, and performs a chronograph test showing a decent output of around 0.97 Joules. A mandatory modification—chamfering a bridge on the slide's red dot mounting plate—is immediately highlighted to prevent the nozzle from breaking.
He also quickly discovers a significant compatibility issue: the Top Shooter magwell prevents the standard magazines from seating correctly. Despite this immediate setback with the aftermarket part, the initial impression of the pistol itself remains positive, and he confirms plans to address these issues and continue pimping out the PDP in future videos.
