"The releasable plate carrier is a smaller and lower profile body armour carrier specifically designed for carrying hard armour plates over other soft armour vests. Like the RACV, the plate carrier has a heavy duty release cord which is attached to a 25mm strap. This is currently set up on the left hand side for crossdraw pull by the right hand, but can be changed to right hand side for pull by the left hand.
