In this review, DeltaSays presents the WE Glock 17 Silver that has returned to the market after a long absence. The model features a Gen 4 design characterized by a textured grip and a larger magazine release button, which might be a bit too enthusiastic for some users. The pistol is constructed with a metal slide and a polymer frame, and it comes with adjustable backstraps to accommodate different hand sizes, or perhaps just to give you more plastic parts to keep track of.
The Burger Airsoft Studio demonstrates the process of stippling and applying a Cerakote finish to an airsoft Glock 17 frame. The process begins by showing how to sand the frame to remove the original texture, followed by cleaning it with soap and water. An olive drab Cerakote finish is then applied and cured in an oven.
Airsoft Mike unboxes the WE Airsoft Secret Glock 17 Series Custom Blue gas blowback pistol. He points out its tactical appearance with gold accents and a hidden full-auto switch. He showcases features like its 24-round magazine, two-stage trigger, and fiber optic sights, demonstrating its FPS and accuracy. Despite a common slide lock issue, he's pleased with its design and solid feel, also briefly explaining hop-up adjustment and firing mode changes.
Sato Hunt compares three Glock 17s: a Marui Glock 17, a Baton Glock 17, and a real deal 9mm Glock 17. He emphasizes the realistic design and feel of the Japanese-made gas guns, noting their popularity in the United States. He looks at the appearance of the three guns, particularly the frames and slides, pointing out the authentic look of the Baton frame and the metallic finish of the Marui slide.
We get to take a look at a Tokyo Marui GBB pistol that is already out of production in this video from Mach Sakai. The Tokyo Marui G17 custom is a highly realistic replica of the Glock 17, designed for rapid-fire performance. Its lightweight polymer frame, coupled with excellent ergonomics and weight balance, significantly reduces recoil and muzzle jump, allowing for faster target reacquisition.
Mach Sakai tries the Archwick B&T Air USW Glock 17 Conversion Kit that is compatible with the ELITE Force, VFC, WE, KWA, and TM pistols. It lets you quickly switch your pistol to a carbine for better control and accuracy, and you can add optics and lights for even more customization.
Vendi Airsoft does a short explanation of the mods done to the WE Airsoft G17 Gas Blowback Pistol... "Just a quick test firing of my custom WE G17. The pistol features a hand stippled grip, with a custom top slide. Internally, the barrel has been upgraded to a crazy jet maple leaf tight bore barrel, with a maple leaf hop up.
It also features a Cowcow recoil rod and spring, which has also been short stroked."
Will there be some performance disparities when these two well received gas blowback pistols from Tokyo Marui get tested by Mach Sakai? The Glock 17 Gen 4 GBB is already a tested product whilst there still needs to be a definite verdict on the Gen5. Watch the video to find out.
