MP7 Fusion Engine Conversion Update

OptimusPrime

An update on the MP7 PolarStar conversion made by Bingo Airsoftworks. The interesting bit here is the use of 3D printed parts to create some parts for easier conversion... "I’ve made some updates to the original TM MP7 Fusion Engine conversion. Making use of more 3D printed parts allowed the conversion to be simplified and it helps keep all the solenoids in place, so they do not interfere with the sliding stock."

ASIA Electric Guns MP7 SMG GBB

OptimusPrime

We initially reported that this MP7 GBB might be from WE Airsoft, but now this is taking several names such as "Waves" and now it's under the Asia Electric Guns brand. The only thingg related to the WE Airsoft is that this was designed to work with the WE SMG8 Gas Magazine and it's now in stock at Tiger111HK... "MP7 Personal Defense Weapon (PDW) is new design with both light weight & performance integrated.

WGC Shop MP7A1 Scale Comparison

OptimusPrime

Now we get to see an actual video showing which MP7A1 GBB has the true 1:1 scale to the real deal. WGC Shop has put a video showing a comparison of MP7A1s from Vega Force Company, KWA, and Tokyo Marui. We have been hearing for sometime that the VFC version is the true 1:1 scale and with their OEM agreement with Umarex which holds the Heckler & Koch licenses and designs for airsoft, we are not surprised.

WE Airsoft MP7A1 GBB SMG?

OptimusPrime

Spotted at EB Airsoft is this "Taiwan Made MP7A1 GBB" which they say is compatible with the WE SMG8 GBB magazine. This has a 44 round  gas magazine and does not have markings. Upon checking the image, the file name is "we airsoft mp7 GBB" which somehow confirms our suspicion that this is a WE Airsoft release. It will not be a surprise if WE airsoft releases a version of the SMG8 with the MP7 trade dress since the SMG8 looks like the MP7A1.

Marui MP7 with PolarStar Fusion Engine

OptimusPrime

Another custom job finished by Bingo Airsoftworks as they show that the PolarStar Airsoft Fusion Engine can also be installed in a smaller body such as that of the Tokyo Marui MP7... "I’ve had A LOT of requests to do an MP7 Fusion Engine conversion, but it’s such a small airsoft gun, I knew any implementation would be pretty extreme to have the Fusion Engine fit. There is only about 3.5″ of space in the MP7 where the gearbox resides.

How did it stand to those test? Well, poorly. But wait! There's still that .50 cal to finish the job.
