Next up on the series of videos from Hyperdorauku during the 57th All Japan Model & Hobby Show is the Thor's Hammer. Made by Tokyo Marui, this is based on the SGR-12 AES that has been released earlier by the company. The Thor's Hammer is used in the actual Resident Evil 7: Biohazard DLC later this year. Called "Not a Hero" Chris Redfield will be using the Thor's Hammer in the game.

Tokyo Marui SGR-12 Release Set On 4 August

The first airsoft gun to be released by Tokyo Marui that is not based on any real world firearm, the Tokyo Marui SGR-12 is the second gun that uses the AES (Automatic Electric Shotgun) tech. The company announced that they are going to release the SGR-12 on the 4th of August 2017 and that means you better place your pre-orders at airsoft retailers that are going to have it in stock if you been eyeing this as your next airsoft shotgun.

Tokyo Marui has a video on the SGR-12 that is separate from their first demo video shown last year. Shown at the 56th Shizuoka Hobby Show this is more of a product presentation. The SGR-12, which is the an original design by Tokyo Marui uses the AES tech seen in the AA-12, which has three internal barrels and can use the TM AA-12 AES drum magazine. It has a bigger brother the "Thor's Hammer" which was designed for Resident Evil: Biohazard 7.

First shown during the 3rd Tokyo Marui Festival Press Event, here is a video of the new Tokyo Marui SGR-12 AES or the Re-Generated Shotgun 12GA. For Marui AA-12 AES owners, they should take note that the magazines of the AA-12 AES can work with the SGR-12 as well as have compatible internals. The video also takes us to the production facility where their engineers go over with delicate care and pride over their original creation.

Hyperdouraku finally gives his take on the Tokyo Marui AA-12 Automatic Electric Shotgun (AES), the first of its class in airsoft. He takes note that this was seen in the 2010 "Predators" movie though for us we saw better action of it in "The Expendables". Seen as a menace in the field with its 3 round shot on fully auto, add the 3000 round drum mag, and one can be really do much damage to an even larger opposing force with it.
