The latest in the CyberG Watch by Thumpy's 3-D House of Airsoft. Thumpy's quite busy with work but found time to find news about this latest move by Cybergun as it marches towards world domination, err... expansion. Quite simply, Cybergun buys into a Gongzi Machinery Manufacturing Co. Ltd., a subsidiary of Shanghai Air Gun (SAG).
The latest entry at Thumpy's 3-D House of Airsoft's Cyber-G Watch, he writes about an iPhone app that was released by Cybergun... "You knew it was on the way…and now, iPhone and iPad lovers, you have a chance to remote-control the 'Death Star'. Released MAY 21st, 2011… the date is important, follow along.
Thumpy, ever the sleuth, did some digging around on CA SB 798, then by coincidence, was able to dig US Senate Bill S.2462 introduced by Senator John Cornyn (R-Texas), in 2009 seeking a suspension on import duties for airsoft electric guns. We do not know why this bill was just discovered now, but it's better than not knowing at all.
Thumpy's 3-D House of Airsoft reports that Cybergun has partnered with Edgar Brothers, making it the second partner for the company in the UK... "On top of the news that Cybergun netted major supplier SMK Sportsmarketing in the UK, now comes another alliance that will see CYBER G hooking into their web of Magpul connections, from major supplier Edgar Brothers."
