The MTR16 GBB Rifle from the Tokyo Marui is an interesting design as it is designed in-house. They even made an actual real steel prototype to find out if the design can have real world use. In this video, Marck West tries to find out in this RWTV episode if it is superior to its MWS predecessors, if not internals wise, but ergonomics wise... A real steel Tokyo Marui MTR16?! Well, it looks like it's a real thing as the company released a video showing Anson Beck of the Falcon Operations Group, more known as "Hollywood" demonstrates a prototype at the range... "To enhance the completeness of gas blow back machine gun 'MTR16', we produced a prototype of MTR 16 with a real gun in the USA. Mr. Anson Beck (known as Hollywood), a tactical trainer from Falcon Operations Group, conducted a demonstration test at Tactical Training as an adviser."

The Tokyo Marui MTR16 Gas Blowback Rifle is finally out and airsoft reviewers in Japan are having their hands on it, starting with Hyperdouraku. It's an own design by the Japanese airsoft company and again, they have chosen the Magpul M-Lok rail system as the railed handguard. The MTR16 uses the ZET System just like the M4 MWS which makes this AR-style GBB to be durable and prevents parts from getting loose due to its strong recoil.

Tokyo Marui have set the 26th of September 2018 as the release date of their Multi-Tactical Rifle (MTR) 16" Gas Blowback Rifle. This is their own design and takes in the ZET System seen in the Tokyo Marui M4 MWS GBB Series for durability. The gas blowback engine uses a large piston that has a diametre of 19mm, giving a strong recoil feedback. It has realistic operation such as charging handle, bolt catach operation, and field stripping.

If you watched the promo video of the Tokyo Marui MTR16 Gas Blowback Rifle, the story was set in the "Tokyo Marui Training Center" (TMTC). Though it's not at the Tokyo Marui HQ itself, the set was a high rise building where too shooters go through different levels. A patch of the TMTC was available at the 57th Shizuoka Hobby Show where visitors were able to purchase for JPY1,500 (US$13.50).
