The last episode relese of the Mario Warfare webseries was almost two months ago and perhaps many of you are wondering why there is no progress from there. Here's an update from the Beat Down Boogie guys explaining why there is a slow down in production and also what to expect in the next episodes where Princess Peach and Mario have organised a revolution against Bowser.
In Beat Down Boogie's Mario Warfate, Mario and the Smash Club decided to help Princess Peach, and proceed to to attack Bowser at his lair where they are confronted by his minions. Bowser was advised to escape as the Red Mushroom Serum still have hours to go before it can take effect. In the a gunfight that they were outnumbered, Mario covers Princess Lea's getaway for her to find bowser whilst he finds himself running out of ammo and surrounded by Bowser's men.
Beat Down Boogie finally releases part 5 of Mario Warfare, 4 months after releasing part 4. Princess Peach gets into the Fight Club with the help of Donkey Kong and finds herself facing Mario. Mario refuses to fight a woman as he gets beaten up and half-heartedly fights back until Luigi recognises her as Princess Peach and immediately tells Mario who immediately kneeled and asks for the fight to stop.
Oh yes! We want Episode 3 of Mario Warfare up as soon as possible as we even here at Popular Airsoft are looking forward to watching the rest of the series. Beat Down Boogie were able to show us two episodes and went to Kickstarter to get more funding which they achieved. So what happened to the money? Here's what they say:
The trailer for Mario Warfare just released by Beat Down Boogie looks epic with even better action moves this time. Will this beat their Modern War Gear Solid? The trailer looks like it will, with more guns and more characters. We wonder if Tim Ellwood volunteered as an extra in this latest project of one our favourite online video producers. Nevertheless, this online film will be something to look forward to.
We get to hear about Leeroy Jenkins, that famous internet meme in World of Warcraft that became a viral hit in the interwebs. This time the Beat Down Boogie Team recreated the scene involving Solid Snake, Ghost, and Akiba. Ghost and Akiba plan their strategy to take down the bad guys hiding inside with Solid Snake seemed to be oblivious to the plan and when asked, he just charged through the door. There's a link included in the video description in case you didn't get the joke.
Tim Ellwood of No Airsoft for Old Men Blog sent us this YouTube link made by Beat Down Boogie during their visit at the Shot Show 2012. With "Sarge" making the introductions, Snake and Ghost go around the show from the firing range to the floor show and as always, with their antics. Have fun watching this video and thanks to Tim.
Tim Ellwood of No Airsoft for Old Men attended the Modern War Gear Solid DVD launch party which was also a mustache party thrown by Beat Down Boogie... "Last Friday night, the MWGS guys put together a great party. For the first time the attendees got to see the series in it's entirety. I was privileged to be invited, and had a great time. Here is a short clip from that mass of fun:
