LCT Airsoft MPi-AKS-74NK Arriving On 21 October

OptimusPrime

LCT Airsoft announced that the MPi-AKS-74NK AEG from the DDR AK series, is set to be released next week. What we know is that this rifle known as the "Kurz" model, was initially issued primarily to East German armored crews and special/recon teams but was not widely exported. Most of these rifles were destroyed following German reunification. A notable fact is that this short-barreled AK-74 predated Russia's widespread adoption of the 12.5-inch barrel as an ideal length for the cartridge.

Larry Vickers features the MPi-AKS-74NK in this Vickers Tactical video as he features some firearms that are rare nowadays. Made in the German Democratic Republic (DDR) or more known as East Germany during the Cold War, it is a licensed version of the AK-74. As for variants, there are the MPi-AK-74N, MPi-AKS-74N, and the MPi-AKS-74NK.

The MPi-AKS-74NK variant comes with a folding skeletal stock as well as a shorter front end.
