Alumyx posted last month a "lightweight" Silverback SRS-A1 airsoft sniper rifle. He also listed the parts he used in this custom work some parts use Carbon Fibre and the lightened parts and achieved a total weight  1.725Kg naked/2.365 kg with scope & magazine. If interested here is the list:

Alumyx is working on midcap magazine for his Airsoft Nailgun project and here is a preview on the prototype... "You're a lot to ask me for spare magazines for the pneumatic nail gun. Because it's not possible to buy standard spare magazine to modify them into airsoft mags, and also because standard magazines aren't convenient enough (not holding bbs, low capacity), I designed a proper midcap for the nail gun.

The Alumyx airsoft Pneumatic Nail Gun is getting a lot of attention as indeed it is a cool idea of converting a Nail Gun to fire off plastic BBs. Previously, you have seen the Alumyx Airsoft Nail Gun that is powered by HPA, and that it means it is tethered to a tank. An option for those who do no want a hose attach is have it gas powered so here is a demo showing it being fired with a green gas adapter... Bang Bang Big Boys Store are now taking pre-orders of the HPA-powered airsoft Nail Gun. Designed by Alumyx, this does not fire actual nails but 6mm plastic BBs. Here is their test video... Alumyx shows a pre-production version of an Airsoft Nail Gun in this video... "Short video introducing the pre-production model of the Airsoft Pneumatic Nail Gun.
