We get to see the M1 Garand Tanker from Marushin in this review by Mach Sakai. This gas powered airsoft rifle comes in a nicely crafted Walnut wood. This has a realistic operation such as inserting the clip and ejecting it after it is spent. Since this is the tanker version, it is shorter so it can be carried in vehicles especially tanks.
Czoper writes for WMASG on this take othe M1 Garand AEG made by ICS Airsoft... "At the beginning of this review I wrote that M1 Garand is a replica not only for reenactments. Why? Let's put aside for a moment all the obvious limitations of the replica that result directly from the limits of the real firearm (the period and technology in which it was designed and produced). And then we have a single-shot rifle with a barrel length of 610 mm and a muzzle velocity of 450 fps straight from the box.
We get to see the A&K M1 Garand AEG on the Evike.com "The Gun Corner" Series and this airsoft rifle will be available in March 2017... "The first standard issue semi-automatic rifle issued to the US Armed Forces, the M1 Garand was referred to as "the greatest battle implement ever devised" by General George S. Patton. Replacing the venerable Springfield M1903 in 1936, the M1 Garand quickly displayed its huge advantage on the battlefield.
Mach Sakai reviews the M1 Garand AEG as made by ICS Airsoft. This is a full 1:1 replica with wood finishing, full metal barrel and trigger assembly. The gearbox has been designed that it can take with Marui-compatible internal parts and it is a hybrid 6mm/8mm metal bearing design. The sights are adjustable and has integrated sling adapters that real M1 Garand Slings can fit.
If you prefer a gas blowback version of the M1 Garand rather than an AEG, then better check out the Marushin version. This has real wood with full metal chamber and barrel. It has a solid gas blowback action and when the clip is empty, it gets ejected. The sights on the gun are made of metal and the rear sight can be adjusted for wind and range. Mach Sakai reviews this rifle in this video.
We're digging this video of Neo035, the French Airsoft YouTube Channel specialised in period guns, shooting the Marushin M1 Garand. Powered by Green Gas or Top Gas, we consider this to be the most realistic M1 Garand airsoft rifle in terms of operation as clip loading and clip ejection (including sound) has been replicated from the real thing. Review of this rifle is also included below:
1 minute reviews seem to be rage right now in airsoft on YouTube with Mach 1 Airsoft having their #Mach1Minute review of the ICS M1 Garand AEG a week ago... "We're rewinding the clock back a bit and showing off a classic - the M1 Garand. And what better way to show off what it can do than by shooting some Nazis? Balloon Nazis, that is!"
Booligan Airsoft gives us a closer look a the Golden M1 Garand from ICS... "Who loves gold? I love gold! Full review will be in issue #8 of Airsoft Insider Magazine!"
Either you want to use it for skirmishes or just for some ceremonial actitivies CWI Airsoft made a custom M1 Garand based on the Republic of China (ROC/Taiwan) Honor Guard... It's always good news to hear airsoft companies being recognised for their innovations in the business sector. ICS just got theirs recently, last 22 November 2013, with their M1 Garand, the first airsoft garand that is electric powered, at the 20th Taiwan Small and Medium Enterprise Awards. The Award was setup to create a climate promoting innovative research and design in the Taiwan SMEs.
