A look into another real steel rifle from Heckler & Koch by Vickers Tactical, the HK53. This is a variant of the HK33 that is made primarily for export market and is based on the G3 rifle. It is a more compact version with an 8.3-inch barrel, with its foream taken from the MP5 submachine gun and has telescopic shoulder stock.

Probably this will be replicated for airsoft as OPS-Core helmet designs got a good following amongst players. Larry Vickers features the K1A that is in use in the Armed Forces of South Korea in this Vickers Tactical video. Made by Daewoo Precision Industries, it was introduced in 1981. Classified as an SMG by the South Korean military, it is also in use in Bangladesh, PNG, Senegal and Cambodia. It fires the Remington .223 rounnd.

If you have been thinking if there is an airsoft version of Vickers 1911, there the MOH 1911 and the Wilson Combat 1911 pistols fully licensed to SOCOM Gear since ten years ago. We are not sure if they are still in production but you can check with U.S. based retailers as many of them pretty much carry SOCOM Gear products.
Larry Vickers went on trip to Russia before, visiting the firearms makers which of course include some of the weapons that we see in use in airsoft.
