With the 58th Shizuoka Hobby Show fast approaching, we get the traditional teasers from Tokyo Marui as they will make us start guessing on their new product reveal at the first major trade show that they will be participating in 2019.

The teaser photos at the company’s  Hobby Show section, they show us three products. Two are obviously pistols and the third one is a rifle. It’s a tough guess, but here is what we think about these teaser images:

This first photo makes us think it’s another airsoft pistol based on the HK45 and it has a threaded front end. There was already the HK45 and HK45 Tactical GBB Pistol that were released. These were followed by the HK45 AEP, will this mean a HK45 Tactical AEP. But many would be pleased if it is going to be a HK45 Compact Tactical GBB Pistol.

The second photo makes us think it is the Springfield V10 Compact GBB Pistol, but that was already revealed last year. We could be wrong, it maybe another gas blowback in the offing.

The third photo is easy to say that it is a Type 89. There are two only two variants of the rifle: Type 89-Standard and the Type 89-F or Paratrooper with the folding stock.  Both variants are available as standard Marui AEGs whilst there is the Standard Type 89 Gas Blowback Rifle already in the market that makes us conclude that it is going to be the Type 89-F Folding Stock /Paratrooper Gas Blowback variant. But who knows? It can be a New Generation Recoil Shock AEG rifle.

There will be more that will be revealed during the show itself which will start on the 9th to the 12th of May 2019 at the Twin Messe Shizuoka. The first two days will be open to trade visitors whilst the weekend will be totally open to members of the public and admission is free.  The custom Toyota Land Cruiser with a special military paint that was first seen at last year’s Tokyo Marui Festival will be there too.
