The MP5A4 NGRS has been unveiled and is set to be released soon. The price is set at 64,800 yen, excluding tax. The fixed stock, which has been improved by taking measurements from the real thing, is integrally moulded and made of the same reinforced nylon resin as the handguard, resulting in exceptional rigidity. The weight is approximately 2.9kg, which is roughly the same as the actual item.

The battery is stored in the stock. Although the battery can be connected after removing the stock, a stock remover (shown in the 2nd image) is included to facilitate the attachment and removal of the stock.

It is compatible with both Ni-MH Mini S batteries and MS Li-Po batteries as power sources. Other specifications and firing/operating performance are identical to those of the MP5A5. Patriot Plus

61st All Japan Model & Hobby Show 06

The latest addition to Tokyo Marui’s “Plus” series, the Lipo-ready AEG, Patriot Plus, is now available. This is the second electric gun plus in the series, combining the performance of the standard electric gun with the PLUS system, which is equipped with a MOSFET. The release date and price for this winter are yet to be determined.

The exterior specifications of the Patriot Plus are based on the Tokyo Marui M4 Patriot HC, a high cycle custom electric gun. It features an aluminium cut Flash hider and a rear stock base with a 20mm wide rail (Picatinny standard) that includes a QD sling adapter.

The internal mechanism of the Patriot Plus is based on the standard electric gun, so it maintains the same firing cycle. However, the PLUS system offers several advantages:

  1. It is compatible with not only Ni-MH mini S batteries but also MS Li-Po batteries.
  2. The trigger response during semi-auto firing is improved.
  3. If an abnormality is detected in the motor or battery during operation, the operation will stop.
  4. It has a system for checking the battery, detecting battery voltage abnormality and stopping operation, detecting temperature abnormality of MS Li-Po battery and stopping operation, and cutting off after use if the battery remains connected.

When using a genuine lipo battery, the cycle will be slightly faster. To accommodate this power, a reinforced piston made of different materials and a sector gear with a plated coating have been adopted.
