It’s the Tokyo Games Show 2019, which is Japan’s equivalent of the E3. The show started yesterday for trade visitors whilst the doors open for the general public on Saturday and Sunday. For those in airsoft, there is only one thing that they are interested in, the latest in the collaboration between CAPCOM and Tokyo Marui for the Resident Evil/Biohazard Series.
For CAPCOM, they have announced as spin-off of the Resident Evil series. Called “Project Resistance”, it is a 4 versus 1 survival horror game. Four players will have to work together in order to survive and they wull be going against one player who will be the “Mastermind” who has more tools at his/her disposal to prevent the four players from escaping. This will include use of surveillance cameras, booby traps, and obstacles. Worse for the four players, the Mastermind can control zombies.
The four players also have their specialist powers. One can play the role of Samuel Jordan, as a former boxer will use his skills with fists. Another player can play January van Sant who is a hacker that can take out hack and take out the Mastermind’s security cameras and can release an EMP burst that makes it more costly for the Mastermind to spawn his minions. If a player prefers doing a lot kicking, then it will be the character Tyrone Henry who is armed with a powerful kick to easily get enemies out of the way. To support all these characters will the fourth character who will be the healer, Valerie Harmon.
Now, on to the airsoft part at the CAPCOM booth. Tokyo Marui has set-up a shooting range inside the Umbrella Corporation’s Research Labs which many amongst the visiting public will visit. Last year the setup was the Kendo Custom Gun Shop where the guns made by Robert Kendo were on display. What is available for those at the gun range to use is the Albert.W. Model 01P Gas Blowback Pistol. Here is Deca of Tokyo Marui to show you the Shooting Range in this Twitter video (Click here if you don't see the embedded tweet):

For those who able to enter the shooting range, they will be given a metallic sticker until the supply runs out. The range is only open to visitors 18 years and above.
At the entrance of the shooting range, you will be greeted by a Tokyo Marui sign with a different font. This was done to be consistent with the Umbrella Research Facility as that is the font seen in the Umbrella Corporation logo. The colour motif for Tokyo Marui is more blue.
Joining Deca at the shooting range is Aihara Mii, a former maid café manager and military idol. According the company, Deca would be happy for the four days he will be manning the booth. (Click here if you don't see the embedded tweet below)
