The first trailer for the final season of Amazon Prime Video’s "Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan" has been released. John Krasinski returns as the intrepid CIA agent, Jack Ryan, who embarks on his most dangerous mission yet. The trailer reveals that Jack Ryan will face one of his scariest threats when a major political figure is assassinated and the CIA gets involved.

Jack Ryan collaborates with a perilous new agent and some well-known associates to reveal the extent of the plot.

The show is based on characters by Tom Clancy and stars John Krasinski as Jack Ryan, a former Marine turned CIA analyst who finds himself in the middle of global disputes that threaten national security. Returning for Season 4 are Wendell Pierce as James Greer, Michael Kelly as Mike November, and Betty Gabriel as CIA Acting Director Elizabeth Wright. New cast members include Louis Ozawa as Chao Fah and Michael Peña as Domingo Chavez. Abbie Cornish also returns as Cathy Mueller, a doctor for infectious diseases and Jack’s love interest from Season 1.

“As the new CIA Acting Deputy Director, Jack Ryan is tasked with unearthing internal corruption, and in doing so, uncovers a series of suspicious black ops that could expose the vulnerability of the country. As Jack and the team investigate how deep the corruption runs, he discovers a far-worse reality — the convergence of a drug cartel with a terrorist organization — ultimately revealing a conspiracy much closer to home and testing our hero’s belief in the system he has always fought to protect.”
