Want to put yourselves in the shoes of Arnold Schwarzenegger and his team or be the one hunting them down in the movie “Predator” Here is your chance to do it in an asymmetrical multiplayer video game called "Predator: Hunting Grounds" that is being developed IllFonic as they announced that a free trial will start on 27 March so you can gauge for yourself if it is worth getting the game when it gets officially released.

It will be available for PC and Xbox gamers with crossover support. Since this is an asymmetrical multiplayer game, you can play as part of a team or take the role of the “Predator” hunting down. Whilst, you are outnumbered by the human team, as the “Predator, you have an arsenal of powerful weapons available as well as the ability to cloak.

IllFonic is basing the game on the story of the original “Predator” movie, which means that apart from taking down the alien warrior, the human fireteam also got mission objectives such as taking down a drug lord and shutting down links to local bases.  Since you are in a team, you can select a class which certain skills and weapons that you can play with.

But as a “Predator”, you also get to select three classes: Scout, Hunter, and Berseker with the Hunter Class being them more balanced of these classes, but it is still all up to you to select which class you want to play.  Apart from Cloaking and Plasma Caster, additional tools at disposal are the Wrist Blades, Yautia Bow, Combi-Stick, and the cool Smart Disc. As you dispatch members of the human team, you can collect trophies of your hunt.

Powerful as the “Predator” may seem, going up against a well-coordinated fireteam will be a rather difficult task. As always, the recommendation is to try an isolate each member to take down. But you will never know if the rest of the team will be laying an ambush to take you as their ultimate mission objective.

Whatever role you want to take, to collect as trophies the humans, or able to survive and “Get to da  Choppa!” Better get ready for the multiplayer next month.

“Predator: Hunting Grounds” is set to be released on 24 April 2020 for PS4 and PC via the Epic Games Store.
