Airsoft Mike APS CAM870 Shell Ejecting Airsoft Shotgun MKII/MKIII Unboxing

Airsoft Mike is back at it again, finally replacing a broken shotgun from years ago with two shiny new toys: the APS CAM870 Mark II and Mark III. Whilst they look like twins on the outside with their fancy wood stocks and metal bodies, they have very different personalities when it comes to eating CO2. The Mark II stores its gas directly in the gun, whereas the Mark III is a throwback that puts the gas in the shells, though the 2026 version of the Mark III seems to have lost all its free accessories in transit.

The unboxing reveals that while the Mark II still comes with a few parting gifts like shell catchers and chargers, the Mark III box is about as empty as a fridge before payday. Airsoft Mike notes that APS has redesigned the internals to ensure no one gets any bright ideas about converting these into anything other than BB-flingers. He even shows off some leather accessories that make the shotguns look ready for a high-end fashion shoot, or at least a very stylish day at the range.

He wraps up with some quick chamber tests to make sure everything clicks and clacks as it should. Airsoft Mike successfully blasts a few BBs into the abyss of his studio but saves the real chaos for a future video at his new farmhouse. It seems the twins are functional and ready for action, provided you have the right proprietary bits and bobs to keep them fed.
