It looks like this Sunday will be a free day for you to do other stuff, such as going to the airsoft game field if allowed. After an update from our friends from NLAirsoft.com, they have come to a decision that the Virtual Airsoft Meetup scheduled on the 18th of April, which is supposed to take place given the cancellation of the IWA Outdoor Classics 2021, will be moved and may take place after summer season.

The decision has been made with a heavy heart as preparations have been underway since the announcement in February. The Airsoft Meetup is the biggest gathering of the airsoft industry, media, and community and one place and the Virtual event is meant to continue this tradition.

Sad to say that some of the companies expected to be presenting their plans and product announcements for 2021 still need time to do their presentation given the Covid-19 pandemic has thrown a spanner in the works for the airsoft market. Indeed, whilst other companies have continued ahead, the rest are sitting tight with their present offerings given the uncertainty.

The date has not been decided yet, but do stay tuned for announcement for the Virtual Airsoft Meetup. Hopefully in the following weeks, things will clear up and we can come up with a new schedule and lineup for the Meetup.

The other event that usually is held at the Airsoft Meetup, the Airsoft Players Choice Awards Ceremony, is proceeding as planned and it will take place 1100H BST/GMT+1 on the 17th of April 2021. So see you there!
