But if an airsoft manufacturer likes the idea, then the Citadel BOSS 25 Shotgun from Legacy Sports International can be a good candidate. When Tokyo Marui announced last year that they are developing a SAIGA-12K airsoft gas shotgun which has ergonomics similar to an AK, then why not AR-style airsoft shotgun?

The Citadel BOSS 25 is a more recent shotgun released by Legacy Sports International and just last week, they unveiled a California-compliant version. This version has been designed to meet the stringent rules of California and still have a good option for home defense as well as for 3-gun competition.

Cheaper than some high end airsoft guns, the BOSS 25 is a 12-gauge semi automatic, magazine fed 12 gauge shotgun with an 18" barrel, 3" chamber 5+1 round capacity, and two detachable magazines.  The stock is polymer with adjustable comb. Its sights are fully adjustable, weighs 8lbs, and has a total length of 37.75". Color variations are black and tan and since it has rail flat top, aiming devices can be mounted on it.

For airsoft 3-Gun shooters, the BOSS 25 can be an ideal competition shotgun, if ever an airsoft version gets made. Perhaps once Tokyo Marui releases the SAIGA-12K then they might have something like the BOSS 25 coming up next.
