Written by Dan Aykroyd and the late Harold Ramis, it eventually launched a multi-billion dollar multimedia franchise. Aykroyd and Ramis also played roles as Ray Stantz and Egon Spengler respectively. They are joined by Bill Murray as Peter Venkman and Ernie Hudson as Winston Zeddemore.

Cosplayers always go for these characters making their own Neutron Wands (also known as Particle Thrower, Proton Blaster, Proton Gun, or Positron Collider) and the Proton Pack which is the ghost capturing device for the team.

With the upcoming release of the next “Ghostbusters” title, “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” in which a group of children discover their grandfather’s connection with the legendary Ghostbusters. When the supernatural phenomena that took place during the original Ghostbusters’ time occurring again and threatening the world, the children found their grandfather’s equipment to use them and save the world of the living.

That grandfather in the movie is Egon Spengler, PhD, who created the ghostbusting equipment the team used and his descendants will be carrying. He is the brains of the team and behind their theoretical framework paranormal/quantum studies.

But getting the Egon’s Neutrona Wand is just one part of the look and Hasbro’s fan-funded Haslab are now asking fans if they are interested in having the Proton Pack produced since without it, the Neutrona Wand won’t be complete. Even its design has  metal V-hook bracket that connects to the metal V-hook bracket on the bottom of the Neutrona Wand. If fans agree to fund it its development and production, then it will be a go.

The fan/crowdfunding campaign is now ongoing and if you want it then better pledge the funding for it and it will be US$399.99. If funding target is achieved, it is expected to be released in Spring 2023:
