Airsoft is no stranger to weapons from the Star Wars movie franchise as most of these blaster props are modified real world guns. But if there is one weapon in the latest craze in the Star Wars Fandom, The Mandalorian TV Series, that we want done for airsoft it is the Amban Phase-pulse Blaster. This is a type of a disruptor rifle use by The Mandalorian (Din Djarin) and can electrocute enemies or disintegrate them.
While we wait for an airsoft version to be made, for those who cannot, Hasbro announced that they are releasing a NERF Amban Phase-Pulse Blaster and the detail is rather good.
Just like in the TV series, this NERF gun is really long, at 50.25” or around 4.19 feet/1.27 meters and according to Hasbro, it is the longest NERF foam blaster that they have produced. It features series-accurate blaster sounds such as loading and chargin sounds; and an electronic scope with an illuminated lens. These are all powered with 2 1.5v AAA alkaline batteries that are not included in the package.
In terms of the detail, the NERF team have done true-to-show wood-textured stock with inlaid bracket and it is inspired gold-colored vacuum-metalized details. It also has the battle wear and weathered look as seen in the TV series.
The package comes with 10 silver-colored Nerf Elite foam darts and you can load them with the spring powered breech for faster loading times. When delivered, it will come in premium packaging that is detailed with gold-foil treatment, embossing, custom illustrations, and a display panel.
So, do you already got that Christmas money? Apart purchasing that dream airsoft gun, you might want to spend a portion of that on this blaster which will be released by the end of the month. As for the price, it will cost you US$199.99 and it’s now on pre-order. If you want to be one of the first owners, then better place your order to get ahead of the rest.
Now, who will make that airsoft version? Any airsoft manufacturer or airsoft custom shop reading this?
Also, I won't recommend this for CQB games.
