Barrett Rifles In 7 Minutes And 39 Seconds

Rampart Pictures again created a video for Barrett Firearms that will be used by the company for trade shows, it's an improvement of the video they made last April 2011 with a good portion of it showing their Barrett M107A1 the suppressor-ready improvement of the Barrett M107 which I shall explain a little bit further below.
Whilst the Rec7 Operations portion was interesting, I was more keen on seeing the .50 BMG sniper rifles that they have, and the MRAD Helo and Aerial Operations portion show how airborne snipers practice their craft as shooting from an aerial platform is one of the most difficult things to do for snipers. But the advantage of height would surely wreck the day of those on the ground.
The M107A1 is a suppressor-ready improvement of the M107, with signature and weight reduction also part of its design. The new bolt carrier and titanium four-port muzzle work together seamlessly with the quick-attach Barrett .50 BMG Suppressor. Just imagine those at the firing end of this rifle. Even if the bullet arrives faster than sound to hit targets, the suppressor even makes it difficult to do countersniper actions since the sound signature might not be heard when the rifle was fired at extreme ranges.
Another thing shown in the video is the Armorer training, especially with making the M170A1 suppressed with the .50 BMG Suppressor and the MRAD caliber conversion --- like changing the barrels to accommodate .300 Win Mag, 7.62mm and the Lapua .338 Magnum. Overall, this lengthy promo video shows the rifles that made Barrett a legend in rifle making.
