Call of Duty: Ghosts Onslaught DLC "CODnapped" Commercial

Gungho Cowboy

As we start the weekend thinking of the gear to bring or the airsoft gun to use for the weekend skirmish, Call of Duty: Ghosts publisher,Activision, wants to bring to your attention of their soon to be released DLC called "Onslaught". This DLC is slated for release on Tuesday, 28 January 2014,  though it will be for the Xbox platform first, with the rest of other gaming consoles, including the PC version, to follow at a later date.

The "Onslaught" DLC, will contain 4 new maps, the next version of Extinction where you get to battle aliens rather than zombies, and the release of the Maverick Assault Rifle which resembles the DSA FAL SA58 OSW with custom wooden stock and lower handguard. With all these new add-ons for your COD: Ghosts fragging pleasure, it's just a matter of finding the time to do some quality online multiplayer game time.

Not to worry as the Call of Duty franchise have an idea to help you in getting that quality game time. In this video commercial, they get the CODnapper, played by Stephen Graham (Pirates of the Caribbean, Boardwalk Empire, Snatch, Gangs of New York, etc.). The CODnapper and his team will kidnap, in this case, 'CODnap', COD: Ghosts players away from their families, fiancé, girlfriends, boss, and or job and bring them to a place where they get the VIP treatment whilstplaying their favourite game.

After that quality time, they will then be returned and they are welcomed back by the people who need them most, unsuspecting that they just had video game fun.

I don't know if the Call of Duty people are reading your thoughts, but the act of being CODnapped sounds fun in itself. And a good number of FPS gamers would want some uninterrupted time playing their favourite games to the detriment of their social, professional, and even love lives, so getting CODnapped would be welcomed.  Some might not approve it, but for the company to have their customers continuously doing online fragging, it's more money to be made.

If you think you will do some Airsoftnapping to spring your mates from the clutches of their families, employers, and girlfriends (or even boyfriends), hold that thought. That prank might just become deadly if you want to recreate it in real life as police nowadays don't have a sense of humour and just might shoot you.
