Moondog and his comrades have always been at the forefront of organising airsoft events that are aimed at helping charity organisations for their causes. For this upcoming event, it is about helping someone who has always been there to attend his events, knowing that they are usually for causes. Moondog, with the sponsorship of Evike.com, will be holding the Evike Shootout: Project PJ which will be held at the South Jersey CQB Field, Barnegat, New Jersey on the 15th of June. This event is for the benefit of the family of Santa Haman who lost most of their belongings during Hurricane Sandy.

Evike ShootOut: Project PJ - NJ 6.15.13

4-man fireteam based airsoft competition with a Parajumper (PJ) rescue theme. Fireteams will compete against the clock to take down a steel targets while taking fire from OPFOR players. Fireteams consist of 3-4 players. Players without teams will be joined up into adhoc fireteams to participate in the competition. Proceeds will be donated to the family of Santa Haman who lost their home in hurricane Sandy. Players who bring a donation item will receive a raffle ticket. Raffle prizes provided by Moondog Industries and Evike.com.

Santa's family lost the contents of their home to hurricane damage. Players are asked to bring a new or gently used items worth +$10: bedding sets, kitchen appliances, household and airsoft gear. Players will receive a raffle ticket for each item donated. For a complete list of items needed: XXXX

• 360fps limit w/.25g all weapons
• All weapons must be able to fire in semi-only though some full-auto scenarios will be played

COMPETITION RULES

You are part of an elite 4-man PJ rescue squad sent to recover an unconscious, wounded airman held by enemy combatants. You must fight your way into the enemy compound, taking out its defenders and EVAC under fire with your objective. Teams will compete against the clock for the fastest time to complete the mission. The competition will consist of 8 steel targets, 2 live OPFOR players and a 100lb dead weight simulating a wounded airman.

The fireteam must take out 6 steel targets outside the compound and 2 targets guarding the pilot inside the compound. OPFOR players will be returning fire and can be hit (OPFOR respawn after 30 seconds). SECFOR players who are hit must return to the LZ and can respawn in pairs.

Steel targets must be knocked down by BB fire from +15 distance. Teams will be penalized 10 seconds for each target left standing. Time will end when the pilot is returned to the LZ.
