One of the running jokes about the biggest Hollywood action stars is how many kills they have done in all their action movies. In this case, one of the most monitored is the Rambo Series starring Sylvester Stallone which from killing 1 in Rambo: First Blood, killed a total of 220 bad guys after Rambo IV: "Rambo". Rambo IV has the most bad guys killed, which totaled 83.
It's not actually my own data, but you can check the chart here showing the breakdown of kills by Rambo, the Bad Guys, and Rambo's friends.
Now, Rambo gets to be in a video game, and it’s going to be you who will be playing John Rambo, if you purchase the game. "Rambo The Video Game" is being developed by Reef Entertainment and it will be initially released in Europe and Australia on the 21st of February and will be available for the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3. It will also be released in North America in the 1st Quarter of 2014, which really means sometime in March 2014.
"Rambo The Video Game" will stay true to the films, in this case, the gameplay takes the player to the first three movies: "First Blood", "Rambo: First Blood Part II", and "Rambo III". It's unfortunate that Rambo IV wasn't included in the video game since it had the most number of baddies killed. This means that with the first three movies as the backdrop of the video game, this is going to be more of game of stealth, using knives, crossbows, and if need be guns. But it is not going to be a shootfest if that's what you are thinking of, or is it?
Here's a video game trailer and you be the judge:
Will you be able to do more kills than John Rambo ever did in the three movies? Depends on how you would count your kills while playing the game since you might be doing same kills over and over again to get pass a certain scene at the more difficult levels. Check your stats and see if you can beat the total of 220 kills (which includes Rambo IV).
If you have pre-ordered the game and based in Europe, you'll be able to get one of the limited edition action figures. Too bad, there's no mention of North American players able to pre-order the game bundled with the action figure.

Remember this from John Rambo: "Real heroes don't die, they just reload."
