There is a new box that can be replicated for airsoft either as a dummy battery box or laser aiming device that can be mounted on weapons. If airsofters are tired of the PEQ boxes, they might a replica of the Elity Weapon Mounted Ballisitic Calculator from FN Herstal of Belgium.
There is no need to introduce airsofters to the FN Herstal as its weapons designs are some of the most sought after airsoft guns in the market. The company will be putting on display the Elite during the EnforceTac 2022 today in Nuremberg, the Law Enforcement and Military event which is a prelude to the IWA Outdoor Classics 2022 which on Thursday, the 3rd of March.
The FN Elity was put unveiled in 2021 at the IDEX 2021 in Abu Dhabi but was first revealed as the FN Ballistic Calculator at DSEI 2019 in London and it is designed for increasing hit probability and situational awareness using an all-in-one laser system.
To be used snipers, precision shooters and spotters it has a 1.550nm laser range finder that can be pointed at a Human size NATO target 1,750m with 30% reflectivity and a vehicle type NATO target 2,200m with 30% reflectivity. It has visible laser in high power or low power and infrared low power or high power. It also has a variable infrared illuminator. As for the ballistic calculator, it features a powerfull ballistic solver with aeroballistic profiler from ApexO, environmental sensors (temperature, pressure, humidity), and state and movement sensors (cant, inclination, digital compass).
It has a user-friendly OLED display that can be connected wireless to an Android app using Bluetooth or even a weather station. It also allows multiple configurations with only one zeroing and the shooter can keep shooting position when ranging a target.
What’s even better for shooters who are interested in Elity? It’s ITAR-free.
