We've gotten emails enquiring how the nomination process at the 3rd Airsoft Players' Choice Awards works. It's fairly a straightforward process, but getting nominated is just a start. Even if someone nominates you, it is not a guarantee that you will be in the final group of nominees when the voting period of the awards starts.

You will ask also how you can be nominated. If you have something for airsoft that is awesome --- be it a blog, a website, a shop, a product, and as long as it fits in any of the categories in the awards, then you can be nominated. You can nominate yourself or have your friends and fans nominate whatever you want nominated. Some products or people can get nominated in one or more categories, provided that they do fit in those categories.

The more people nominating you, the chances of you getting in the final voting round gets higher. We will only get a maximum of 5 top nominees per category though there might be some categories that will have less than that. The top 5  nominees will then get into the final voting round where everybody, even those who didn't nominate them, gets  to vote.

As to being nominated, we leave it all up to you on how you can make as many people nominate you. For those who have these hundreds of thousands, if not just thousands, of followers at their Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, or any other social network, it's a test on how they can mobilise them by effectively harnessing them. What's the use of these followers if they cannot even nominate you, right?
