Medal of Honor Warfighter Preacher Story First Reveal

Logan

Uploaded just yesterday, EA Games made the first reveal of Preacher, the central character in Medal of Honor Warfighter in the Single Player Campaign game. This is a trailer about the story of Preacher who is sent together with his team to find, fix and finish terrorist threats around the world. The video shown is more of cinematic trailer rather than show the actual single player game play but it sets the mood on how the story unfolds as the player goes through the game when it gets released late this year.

Preacher is a battle-hardened member of AFO Team Neptune which is comprised of U.S. Navy SEALs selected from the DEVGRU. He is married to Lena and they have a daughter. He first appeared in the 2010 Medal of Honor. In Warfighter, he is again together with his team and operating with Mother as they are sent on missions that many will realize are based on actual threats around the world such as the Abu Sayyaf in the Philippines and Al Shabaab in Somalia, attacking the pirate's lair along the Somali coast. The other members of AFO Team Neptune in 2010 Medal of Honor, such as Rabbit and Voodoo are also back in Warfighter.

The story for the Single Player campaign is focused on the family life of Preacher and as other reports say, about Mother too but this trailer show how Preacher and his teammates to conduct their missions. With the story of Warfighter being written by Tier 1 Operators, they also reveal their personal conflicts as being away in missions for so long also has a great impact on their personal lives, especially with their families.

Preacher's story in Warfighter is an attempt by Medal of Honor to come out with a video game that has a take on the actual lives on warfighters. While made for entertainment, Warfighter aims to make sure that the stories of those who have been involved in special operations missions can also be told, even if the characters are fiction.

With the release of Medal of Honor: Warfighter already set in October, EA's marketing machine is revving up more, releasing more videos to entice FPS players to beging pre-ordering their copies. They have also added another incentive in pre-ordering the game --- it gives them access to Battlefield 4 Beta.
