Netflix “Medal Of Honor” Documentary Series To Stream On November 9

If you want watch and listen to stories of men who belong to a group admired for extraordinary feats of courage, then better subscribe to Netflix if you do not have an account yet. On November 9, 2018 the first episode of season 1 of “Medal of Honor” documentary series will be streamed online to whatever device that you use to watch Netflix.

The docuseries is the result of collaboration between Robert Zemeckis known for directing “Forrest Gump” and James Moll, the award-winning documentarian between the “Last Days”. “Medal of Honor” features 8 men who received the highest and most prestigious military honor of the USA in a 8-episode season.

The Medal of Honor award was created by President Abraham Lincoln in 1861 and was first awarded in 1863.  Since then around 3,500 men and women from the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard have received this honor. It is also known as the Congressional Medal of Honor as its in presented in the name of the U.S. Congress.

In each episode, the brothers-in-arms and family of the MOH recipients talk about the bravery and extraordinary odds they faced. Archival footage and reenactment of the action that are combined to give fully impart the story of the men whose stories should be told on for generations.
