Airsoftjunkiez has released a quick demonstration of their Airsoftjunkiez Expert AEG DD MK18. This build utilizes the VFC MK18 Avalon as the foundation, retaining the original chassis while replacing a significant portion of the internal components. The rifle is configured with a Titan II MOSFET to manage electronic functions and features external Daniel Defense furniture, including a dedicated stock and foregrip, alongside a PTS grip.

The internal specifications focus on mechanical consistency and range. Accuracy is handled by a 375mm PDI inner barrel paired with a Maxx Hop-up unit and a flat hop configuration. To manage the firing cycle, the gearbox has been outfitted with 16:1 gears, a Rocket piston, and a Retro Arms tappet plate. These components are shimmed for alignment and driven by a Solink brushless motor, which provides the necessary torque for the M130 spring tension.

A Maxx trigger is installed to interface with the electronic MOSFET, offering a different tactile response than the stock VFC assembly. By combining these specific aftermarket parts with the Avalon platform, the build aims to provide a pre-configured option for players seeking a high-cycle AEG without performing the modifications themselves.
