BALIKATAN 2007-03: OP Zambo Thunder, the third of the Balikatan 2007 Series organised by FilForce will be held in 11 November 2007... "The Abu Sayyaf and their Al Qaeda-Jemaah Islamiyah cohorts were able to again slip through the Philippine-United States dragnet but with a heavy loss in terms of the number of fighters killed. However, Philippine and US forces were not able to rescue the US soldier captured by the Abu Sayyaf during Operation Sulu Storm. Ranking Al Qaeda and Jemaah Islamiyah operatives were also able to elude capture. Most likely, the Abu Sayyaf has melted into the urban lowlands with their hostage and their terrorist allies.

The stage is set for heavy CQB action Balikatan 2007-03: Operation Zamboanga "Zambo" Thunder.

This event is Invite only and we will be limiting this OP to 60 players. Vets of previous Balikatan games will be given priority. Only mature and responsible players will see action in this event given the safety considerations that go with a CQB operation.

Shogun will be making the final call and team assignments. If you are not on the Registered list on Saturday morning you will be turned away from the event. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Payments will be made on the field. Please bring correct change.

FPS Limits: 300fps .25g AEG / 350fps .25g GBB semi-only

Age Limits: +18 or accompanied by guardian

Gear Requirments: Full sealing goggles manditory, full-face protection recomended

UNIFORM REQUIRMENTS:

• US Special Forces: Black SWAT BDUs or OD flight suits
• Philippine Special Forces: Black SWAT BDUs or OD flight suits

The Abu Sayyaf Group: Shemagh shemagh style headwraps are manditory. They can be any color except red and all-black. Must wear mixed tops and bottom colors/camo (ie. black shirt and woodland pants.) Civilian clothes preferred. Remember, you are playing 'bad guys' and 'insurgents.'

Gear Restriction: No smoke grenades, no box mags, no red gas

Due to the urban location of the field, all attendees are required to carry thier AEG's in bags or cases. Under no cirucmstances are you to have your weapons visable outside of the warehouse. Also please arrive in your civies shirts. You can put on your BDU blouses indoors."
