Asymmetrical Preparedness takes a look at the optic from Olight, the Osight. The Osight boasts a pioneering magnetic charging cover that displays battery levels for both the cover and the sight itself (extending battery life to 70+ days). It features a large window (0.94 x 0.85 inch) with a 3 MOA dot for easy target acquisition even during recoil. Despite undergoing a rigorous 10,000-round field test, the Osight maintains zero calibration. It also has motion and light sensors that turn it off after inactivity and automatically adjust brightness, with manual and lockout modes for even more control. Finally, the Osight is designed for easy integration with most firearms by adopting the common Ruggedized Miniature Reflex footprint.
