Here's a step-by-step guide to changing your current connector to a deans connector:

Step 1: Snip a single wire.
Step 2: Strip the wire
Step 3: 'Tin' the end of the wire.
Step 4: 'Tin' the connector. A jig of some sort really helps for this step.
Step 5: Add your heat shrink to the wire
Step 6: Fuse the wire to the connector.
Step 7: Cover the connection with heat shrink
Step 8: Add heat to the heat shrink
Step 9: Repeat for the other side and that's how you install a deans connector.

If you don't know how to solder, you don't have the necessary tools or you just don't want to have to mess with it yourself then you can just bring it into the shop and we can install one for you for the cost of parts and $5 in labor."
