Survival JP shows the "Spectre" custom tune for the M110A1 AEG, designed to operate as quietly as a bolt-action sniper. He explains that this modification is specifically for large rifles that provide enough internal space for advanced soundproofing. Beyond just being quiet, the build is tuned for long-distance accuracy, capable of hitting targets at 50 meters with heavy 0.33g BBs, making it a specialized tool for stealthy players.
The technical upgrades include a refined pre-cocking system for instant trigger response and a unique two-stage trigger that mimics the feel of a real firearm. Interestingly, the shop actually harvests stronger springs from other magazines to ensure the M110A1 feeds reliably, showing a commitment to performance even if it means sacrificing a spare mag. The barrel setup is also unusual, featuring a shortened inner barrel and a massive integrated "Hide Suppressor" that vents air into a carbon fiber sleeve filled with acoustic material.
To prove the effectiveness of these tweaks, they conduct a sound test in a music studio filled with drums and sound-absorbing foam. When compared to a standard rifle, the Spectre tune produces a dull thud rather than a sharp crack, which would easily be lost in the ambient noise of a typical game. While the M110A1 is a large and heavy piece of equipment, this suggests that this custom work's silence and reach offer a significant advantage for those who enjoy the marksman role.
