The Tokyo Marui M14 and the CYMA clone are two of the better forming M14 AEGs in the market, will the Perun ETU further eke more? Watch this first impression video from WYSHTECH Airsoft. The unit, which replaces the stock trigger assembly, is a pre-production model. The presenter unboxes the ETU, which comes with a programming card, and praises its design as an all-in-one unit that integrates seamlessly with the existing airsoft gun's mechanics.

The Perun ETU features full cycle detection, ensuring reliable semi-auto fire, and successfully retains the M14's mechanical selector switch functionality. Installation is remarkably easy, as the unit can be swapped out without fully removing the gearbox from the receiver, requiring only the stock to be taken off. Key features include magnetic trigger detection for a crisp pull, as well as multiple adjustment screws for fine-tuning pre-travel and overtravel to customize the trigger feel.

After a quick calibration of the selector switch, the unit performed perfectly. The only minor concern raised is the long-term durability of the cut-off lever, which is made from SLS 3D-printed plastic. Despite this, the presenter highly recommends the unit for M14 owners.
