Airsoft France tries the Specna Arms Rock River Arms EDGE 2.0 AEG in a game before giving a verdict. The Rock River Arms licensed aluminum alloy receiver is scratch and weather-resistant due to its nano coating. It features an Orion 8mm gearbox with a reinforced piston, steel teeth, aluminum nozzle, polymer double-sealed piston head with bearings, ball bearing spring guide, and steel gears.

The ESA2 system allows for tool-free spring swaps in minutes or seconds. It comes with a pre-installed GATE ASTER MOSFET system and a 380 fps spring from the factory, with an optional 310 fps (M90) spring included. The rotary type hop-up comes with Specna Arms's Helium flat hop rubber and a 6.03mm tight bore barrel.

The Keymod handguard allows for mounting of various accessories and it features a solar flat competition-style trigger. It also includes flip-up front and rear iron sights with day & night apertures and ambidextrous sling loops on the rear of the receiver.
