You can evaluate the quality of the RunCam Helmet Camera 2 in this unedited gameplay footage by Rummbolt... "As one of the most affordable Action Cam Releases for Airsoft in 2025, the RunCam Helmet Camera 2 caused some mixed feelings for me.

For the price of only 70 bucks, it comes with a lot of features such as Bluetooth connectivity, a unique form factor and – a very nice plus for playing airsoft outdoors – being 100% waterproof.

On the other hand, the video quality in the max resolution of 1080P at 60 FPS appeared kinda outdated to me when I did the review on this camera – which is why I relied on my more expensive actioncams for recording airsoft gameplay since then.

But on my last gameday, I got in a situation that made me actually kinda happy to have a camera with such versatile mounting options, because I was using another device on my helmets front NVG bracket.
