Time for some hardcore milsim event for those wanting more than just an airsoft event. Stirling Airsoft are now preparing for their Operation Taurus which will take place on the 14th to 16th of August near the border of England and Wales... "One month ago, UK and US special forces teams from TF29 carried out Operation Taurus 1, seeking to locate and capture or kill Doundou Chefou, a mid-level ISGS commander.

While the operation was a success and Chefou and other mid level HVIs were eliminated the SF teams struggled to re-establish security. Multiple contacts throughout the closedown of the operation built up to a huge firefight following a prolonged attack on a VCP. During the firefight a USSF team was cut off from the rest of the task force, and several vehicles were disabled and potentially seized by ISGS forces. It is thought that the attack was organised by one Lakia Hussein, a ISGS supplier and arms dealer, who is now known to be running her own cell IVO Wanikin.

Since then the USSF team has been missing, presumed captured. This has led to regular rotations into Osun State in an attempt to locate and recover them, and to carry out further operations against both ISGS and AS militant groups that continue to flood the area.

A small working patrol base, dubbed PB Johnson, has been authorised by JCTSF command in Abuja, Nigeria, from where TF29 will continue their taskings. ISGS and AS representatives continue to meet in the remote areas of Wanikin and it is highly likely that soon an official treaty will be signed, or a merger of the two organisations will take place.

Intel reports have suggested that a mobilisation of ISGS forces, as well as more advanced logistical backings from the Azearian State group will expand terrorism operations across state or possibly even country borders. Regular SIGINT chatter referencing IEDs in the city of Ibadan in Oyo State has placed the state capital on a list of possible targets for a terrorist attack."
