Ooooohhhhh!!! Another Dream Airsoft Shotgun

Gungho Cowboy

Just what the doctored ordered me to do for a lazy weekend, browse websites to find the latest gun that I wish airsoft manufacturers would make for us. After 3 days of web surfing, finally, there's one that showed up as a big blip on most radars of guns and defence websites, and it's not an assault rifle, nor a sniper gun, it's a combat shotgun stock kit. When saw the first series of the Kushnapup Bullpup Saiga-12 Stock, I was not impressed. But the Series 5 is definitely for my tastes as it is sleeker and looks more refined than the Series 1.

Kushnapup LLC is a company based out of Heber City, Utah and they make the bullpup stocks on the Saiga-12 which is a 12-gauge semi-automatic ombat shotgun for made for the Russian forces and is based on the all-too-familiar Kalashnikov look. Manufactured by Izhmash, it can have an optic mounting and has gathered a following among professional and sports hunting enthusiasts.

Kushnapup developed a Bullpup Saiga-12 Stock for the Saiga-12 and you can readily put in any uncoverted Saiga-12 on the Kushnapup Series 5 in minutes with just a screw driver. Some quarters are wondering about trigger pull of the shotgun in a bullpup configuration, but there are bullpup fans out there, specially those Steyr Aug or FAMAS fans who would find the large trigger guard to their liking.

As the Saiga-12 is magazine fed, you can fit in 12-guage drum magazines if you prefer such types. Just imagine breaching and CQB situations using this. It's highly maneouverable and its firepower at close quarters is very much desireable.

While the a bullpup kit can be manufactured, no airsoft manufacturer has ever created a Saiga-12 shotgun, except for that RedWolf Custom Saiga-12 which is just a modified AK-47 AEG made to look like a Shotgun. But if it can be done, then I surely wouldn't mind a manufacturer ripping apart an airsoft AK AEG, making some necessary modifications to it, and come up with semblance of a Saiga-12 Bullpup using the Kushnapup series 5 design. I would gladly fall in line to have my hands on it.

Ooohhh...I could just imagine myself in CQB games rushing in with a magazine-fed airsoft bullpup shotgun. Another airsoft gun in my wishlist, and again praying that a manufacturer would make one.
