SHOT Show 2014 Final Day: TFB with KRISS, Tactical Fanboy, & Replay XD

OptimusPrime

The SHOT Show 2014 has probably confirmed that we are such avid followers of The Firearms Blog. Ever since there had been changes to the website after it got acquired by AllOutdoor.com, The Firearms Blog has developed from a simple blog to a website that has comprehensive stories and knowledgeable writers with good credentials. This SHOT Show 2014 has found us eagerly awaiting their news reports which includes a lot of nice photos.

In his Friday post, Alex C. writes about the Private Shoot and visit at the KRISS Arms booth at the SHOT Show. This is one thing about KRISS Arms, as they are open to media visits for them to try and shoot their firearms. We had our own invitation before and we sent the Swiss Invaders to visit and report about their experience. Suffice to say, they had a blast and an enduring admiration of the company.

Reading the post, a familiar face from airsoft came up again. We were aware that people from KWA moved to KRISS Arms and we have seen Allen Lau in our previous report about Krytac. The photo from TFB as shown above is Mike (family name escapes us) who was a mainstay in KWA videos giving a demo of the KWA KRISS Vector GBB. Now he gets to  talk about the real deal KRISS Vector, especially the expanded KRISS Vector CRB Enhanced equipped with Magpul furniture.

Apart from the KRISS Vector galore, there are new Sphinx pistols on display which Alex says are accurate and the cans installed on them, which probably are the Defiance suppressors, work well with the pistols.

Tactical Fanboy found something interesting which airsoft players might want to install on their scopes. The Torry Pines Logic’s GPH-GSM Super-HERO Vision Gun Scope Adapter allows you to mount your GoPro Hero Action Camera to record your shots.

Tactical Fanboy's partner blog, the more familiar and widely read Soldier Systems, is very much on the assignment to cover the SHOT Show 2014. Tons of reports of firearms, tactical gear, and other interesting tidbits are posted at the Blog and there are just too many of them for us to condense properly for you. Just hit the SolSys link and start reading all the SHOT Show 2014 reports.

AirsoftCrier checks out the new Replay XD Camera which is probably the sleekest 1080p High Definition Action Camera that is waterproof and can be mounted anywhere. Replay XD is getting more popular amongst airsoft players that no wonder the company is a finalist for the Best Action Camera maker for the 4th Airsoft Players' Choice Awards.

We are winding down our reports on the SHOT Show 2014 and we want to say a job well done by the airsoft media, especially to the Airsoft Medicine crew who delivered videos as fast as they can which they promised prior to the event. There will still be news postings about the SHOT Show as there are still more videos being processed by those who brought their camera crews to the show and we expect more of them next week.

There will be more major events where airsoft will be part of the showcase in the first quarter of 2014. The British Airsoft Show in February and followed by the massive outdoor and firearms exhibit in Germany, the IWA & Outdoor Classics 2014 where we shall be there reporting from the exhibit areas, provided that we get Media Accreditation again.
