SK Guns "Early Italian Renaissance" Gold Series

In a collaboration that marries artistic heritage with firearms engineering, renowned custom firearms manufacturer SK Guns has announced a unique partnership with Springfield Armory. The result? The "Early Italian Renaissance" Gold Series, a limited-edition collection of exquisite 1911 pistols.

This exclusive offering, dubbed the "Gold Series," comprises just 25 complete sets. Each set boasts consecutively numbered pistols and matching edition numbers, ensuring their collectability. But the exclusivity doesn't end there. The Gold Series pairs each pistol with a stunning, limited-edition knife. Crafted from 24k gold and meticulously etched, these blades are numbered to match their corresponding set and hail from the prestigious Coltellerie Maserin, an Italian knifemaker established in 1960.

Drawing inspiration from the 15th-century cultural renaissance, the Early Italian Renaissance Series features intricate engravings that pay homage to iconic artworks. The artistry of Michelangelo, Da Vinci, Andrea del Sarto, and Raphael adorns each firearm, transforming them into mobile masterpieces.

Michelangelo's contributions are prominently displayed on the first pistol. The engraving depicts his famed "David" sculpture alongside elements from the Sistine Chapel Ceiling, including the "Creation of Adam" with its near-touching fingers, and the sorrowful "Madonna della Pietá."
